35 years ago I had a 8x10 tyvek ground cloth with a "hood" sewed into a hole in the middle to wear as a poncho. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />On rainy days I put a stick up in the poncho to make a tent, <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and staked down the corners. total weight 6 oz, total cost $1.99. In nice weather I slept on top of it.
