febbom member Registered: 10/05/02 Posts: 164	The squeak is due to the plastic sheeting that attaches the shoulder strap webbing and frame stays to the pack interacting with the back of the hipbelt. It is insanely annoying.... I stuffed a bandana between the back of the hipbelt and the plastic sheet- stopped any noise. You could also use very thin foam, or any other non-absorbant material.
