Especially the west side of the Cascades, in both Oregon and Washington. Forecast east wind gusts to 55-60 mph starting this afternoon. This has to do with really high pressure to the east (a cold front that is exoected to dump snow in the Rockies) and low pressure farther west. This is also going to cause strong north winds down in California. Think of the pressure difference between 25*F and 108*F (temp at Napa airport yesterday late afternoon when I checked to see how my daughter's home in Sonoma was faring).
