A last summer we accidentally found ourselves at Silver Lake trying to flee fires in Crater Lake NP. I really liked the area. So much less crowded than Lake Tahoe that we were trying to get to. I think I got my kids to hike up to Granite Lake. It was a spectacular view. The pools below Silver Lake were a lot of fun too. Thank you so much for your work keeping our trails open!
