Dryer Moderator Registered: 12/05/02 Posts: 3591 Loc: Texas	Any ham HT can be "opened up" to operate on that band but it's technically illegal to operate ham gear on gmrs frequencies. The manual squelch is a thing of the past, pretty much. Look for an old Yaesu VX5. Those are easily converted. _________________________ paul, texas KD5IVP
