Yes, I knew that but wrote the wrong name down because I had just been looking at Canon info.

I had a professional photo friend who did, indeed, use the film version of the Stylus. Eventually, he even used it for occasional wedding photos, along with his 2 SLRs. The lens system is quite good.

I paid around $400. That amount is not going to be repeated. $200 maybe . . .

I use iPhoto, Aperture, and if necessary, Photoshop CS3. So I don't really care whether the camera does the internal processing or not as long as the image data is there to work with.

I do prefer to work with natural light -- no flash.

In my experience, pixels don't mean all that much after a certain point . . .
