After an aborted attempt last year generally due to inexperience in thru-hiking, my son and I are going to try the Colorado Trail again. We are planning to do 3 weeks or about 160 miles together. Then I'm going to turn him loose to see how far he gets. For now he is just planning the next 90 miles solo, but if he wants to go the whole distance, he can.
