It does not include trekking poles or the warm weather clothes I wear during the day.

When I was gram cracking, I found it useful to split up groups to:

- The big three
- Clothes
- Pack items
- Food and water

Little changes made a big difference. It was surprising how fast the grams added up. Having a postal scale and a spreadsheet really helped me see the progress.
