lori member Registered: 01/22/08 Posts: 2801	As far as I can tell "geared declination" is what the compasses with adjustable declination all have. The compass with the "declination scale" is not the same - you have to calculate the declination manually, after boxing the needle. _________________________ "In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities.
