I think DD qualifies as "wood fire" and would be illegal many places. I hear the main difference is in the aroma and fine camel DD is the best for heating your yurt. that said , there's enough deer DD in my front yard to do some testing with. In fact I bet it would work well in my "pellet" stove. But would it work in a wood gasifier?
