Thought I'd bump this thread. Sony has announced a new Ereader, the PRS300, at a much lower price: $199. Still heavier than the Bookeen at almost eight ounces, but the prices of these Ereaders are definitely coming down. The Mobileread forum has a new comparison matrix here that includes most manufacturers latest offerings.
