I've been backpacking for quite a few years and a little cold never scared me. This Christmas I got some snowshoes that I've been dieing to use. We had a lot of snow in December and nothing since, so I am waiting for some fresh snow before I make a trip. Can anyone give me recommendations for the types of trails I should choose? I would love to hike in to some of the same mountain lakes I backpack to in the summer, but I don't know if these are the kind of trails that are good for snowshoes.

Any suggestions for the trail I should choose once the snow returns?
