Yes, I too vote for the garbage bag. I usually carry a couple of them and covering my pack at night is one of the primary uses. At night I try to make a small harness for my pack and that goes over the pack and garbage bag. I have a carabiner at the top and with this I can hoist my pack up in the air and I almost always do this too...sabre11004...
