I have an REI zip-t merino wool top that I like a lot--but they haven't been selling REI-branded wool layers for quite a while now. What's up with that?

It used to be a decent price, and it was the only time I've seen merino layers in tall sizes. But they seemed to drop them, and in their place there are silk layers. A bogus trade, IMO, since silk (no matter how great it feels in the store) handles moisture terribly.
