Last Halloween I was called by a friend who's daughter was having a party that night. She asked if I could come by late that night, sneak into the woods behind their house and do something scary.
So, my daughter and I drove over, parked up the street, and snuck into the woods maybe 200ft behind the party house. The party was in the garage and on the patio.
On the count of three, my daughter and I blew into two crow calls, plus a wounded rabbit call, with full force breaths. That most ungodly shriek literally shut down the party....and some of the kids called their parents! The lights went on, on the house next door. Some of the braver kids stood on the porch, peering into the darkness. That's when I pulled out a Swedish Fire Steel and struck some really big sparks. (daughter and I were laughing so hard we almost gave ourselves away.) Those sparks blinded the kids long enough that we could slip away about 100' and repeat the process. Parents were showing up early....friend had to do some explaining, daughter and I had already slipped away. You wouldn't believe the noise three game calls can make when over-blown, all at the same time.
