I don’t see why aegismax is good value. $157 G2 med (medium length) is 18F (28F comfort) 1006gr = 2lb3.5oz bag, no warranty. I believe their ratings are not overrated. I’ve heard some murmings of 800 fill down.

Rei bags below ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
synthetic bag is $103 2lb 12oz 20F bag. https://www.rei.com/rei-garage/product/159785/marmot-waldron-20-sleeping-bag
$269 down 1lb 10oz (737grams) 25F bag https://www.rei.com/product/111165/rei-co-op-igneo-25-sleeping-bag-mens more expensive, but aegismax g2 is 37% heavier. Thats A LOT. You also lose 7 degrees withich is not insignificant.
$179 19F 2lb6.6oz (1094g) 600 fill power down bag https://www.rei.com/product/147927/kelty-cosmic-20-sleeping-bag-mens. Slightly heavier (8% heavier), same temp, name brand, warranty.
$369 16F 1lb12.2oz (799g) 850 fill power. https://www.rei.com/product/148248/rei-co-op-magma-15-sleeping-bag-mens. The aegismax is 26% heavier which again is big. It seems like the aegismax is closer to a 650 fillpower bag in warmth to wegiht ratio/ or it’s lesser designed to get less efficiency (insufficient zipper cover flap?)

Honestly, the $269 bag is probably the best value of the bunch due to the massive weight savings.

If we wanted to go to REI and look at their listed sleeping bags, we can do that all on our own. confused

What is your interest in this brand of sleeping bag? What's the question?
