A two-hike day, solo. First, tried again to make it from Loveland Pass to Mt. Sniktau (a 13er. -- second attempt) Got to about 12.2K' and lack of conditioning sent me back. So drove back to Evergreen and did the Bergen Peak hike, about 8.5 miles, making for a long, but beautiful day. Was 27F up at Loveland Pass, but 52F at the trailhead in Elk Meadows, and about 38F under a cloud at the top of Bergen Peak (9,700')
The primitive lip sync in the video was done using the replay of Burning Spear's song that was looping in my head on the way up.
