Hi, I am looking for some packing help for an upcoming trip to Ecuador. We are on the ground for 17 days and doing allot of travel. We only stay in one place for two nights other than that we are a new destination every night.

We fly into Quito which is just over 9000 feet and travel through the Andes to a volcano at 14,000 feet. Then make our way down to the Amazon rainforest. We then move to a costal beach area and then back to Quito.

Not having allot of outdoor experience I am not sure how to pack for 3 climate zones in such a short span. I understand layers but want to keep my load as light as possible due to the amount of moving. Any tips or suggestions?

What I think so far is
Everything needs to be fast drying.
3 tank tops
3 moisture wicking T's
1 moisture wicking long sleeve
1 Soft shell
2 zip off travel pants
1 Pair of shorts
3 underwear
3 fast dry pair of socks
1 bathing suit
Birkenstocks
Light duty hiking boots

Now does that seem to much? I also have some Camera gear to haul around but am trying to minimize that as well.

What size pack would I need to fit this in? Assuming a pro DSLR and 2-3 lenses.
