As you all know, I have a genetic weakness for Cascade Designs "ultralight" gear. (And we all know what evolution theory predicts for genetic weaknesses. smile )

Anyhow, I have an unnatural affection for my Western Mountaineering sleeping bags, and am not likely to abandon them anytime soon. However, I'm fascinated by the two lighter Thermarest sleeping bags (Haven 20 and Alpine 35 blanket.) Both are "bottomless" bags, in the pound-and-a-half range.

Just curious whether anyone has any experience, or thoughts, on these two bags. In particular, I'm curious as to how a side sleeper could use the Haven without burying your face in the side of the hood.
