No, we don't. But we're not in Alaska. We've seen two bears in the backcountry in the last seven years and 800 miles. And they both ran away when they saw us.

Hmm... My wife has made similar comments. You know, our wives may be onto something because bears do the same when they smell, er, uh, I mean, see me too.
