Expert physiologist types have said you can't acclimate significantly to cold weather. That it's just pretty much take it or leave it.
But I swear that the one year I went camping on nearly each successive winter weekend, by late winter I was less affected by cold than on New Year's Eve.
Some of it may be attitude and minor adjustments to technique, but I definitely didn't think so. Temps were generally around zero.
