>"Does anybody have any ideas of how I still can achieve my training in the short distances and short time? My kids are both 7-9 years old and pretty active. I really can't leave them home while I train and they really enjoy being able to be with their Dad and they actually seem to talk more with me on the hikes then at home being distracted with the t.v/xbox."

Doesn't really matter. You've got your priorities straight. If you have your kids talking to you, then you're golden.

Only other option is to do something after they are in bed or early in the morning -- depending on whether you are a night owl or early bird.
