Bigfoot,
in1988 I bought white cloud serial number 40. Around 1990 I was in Western Mountaineerings shop in San Jose Cal and I saw another white cloud for $100 that had been used as a haul bag on El Capitan and they had trid to destroy it. So I bought it and sold it to my BP buddy for $150. Anyway the waterproofing started flaking out of mine and I returned it and they sent me a new cloud 6500. Well I was talking to my friend and he has stopped using the pack because of the water proofing flaking off and I've offered him $20 to get my old pack back. I will turn it inside out and wirewheel the stuff completly off - that or paint stripper?

I would most probably use the smaller White Cloud with the titanium stay for my climbing pack and the larger Cloud 6500 in the Winter, and in the summer since its modular summer weight is only 29 ounces and a white cloud weighs 51.
