My first reaction would be that not all purists are snobs, but when you qualify it with 'so-called' I would have to agree. But of course 'word snobbery' is but one of my many such passions. I turn up my nose to both the mainstream UL crowd and the mainstream mainstream crowd. You see, I am a minimalist snob. But again, that is only one of my many such passions.
