I have a 10+ year old Hillary tent and on a recent trip incurred some damage to a tent pole. One of the pole sections basically frayed and splintered creating a significant week spot. I was able to manage through the rest of the trip but I need to replace that pole (dont want to replace the entire tent as this is the only damaged part).

My question is related to the information I will need to find the proper replacement. I do not have the "model" information, just the make. Can I get away with just measuring that pole and finding a replacement at the same length?

I am frequently guilty of overthinking the simple things, so if that's the case again, apologies!
