Have you considered one of these... Mugs? at 3.4 ounces, and won't burn the skin off of your fingers, trying to hold it, or your lips when trying to drink from it?
On the downside you can't cook in it, other than pouring hot water into it with dry soup or something. But it's great for hot/cold beverages, soups etc..
I personally don't like the all aluminum mugs, because the handles get hot, when your fingers grasp the handles, your knuckles or more of your hand touches the hot cup portion causing a reflex action of jerking it out of your face, further splashing your hand, arms, shirt, lap with more molten liquid, causing you to say something that nobody wants their kids to hear mad mad, and your lip skin tends to burn on the hot cups lip. Just a thought...
