Howie member Registered: 06/02/03 Posts: 481 Loc: Canora, SK, Canada	I have used tent poles for a different purpose than what they were intended. They worked ok for a while but the weak link is the elastic cord that runs down the centre. Once that cord breaks it is hard to repair.
