I have two of these lights, eGear HL130. One for my wife and one for me. We used this on our recent multi-day backpacking trip. It's great for the price. The other option is Coast LED Lenser H7 which is in your price range, but I have not used them yet so don't know how they perform. But with LED I am sure it won't be disappoint.
