No - black beans and pintos are very different, black beans suck... on a camping trip where I forgot my coffee cup I had to use the paper cup that black bean soup came in. I hadn't tried it before and gagged down the soup, but let me tell ya, black bean flavored coffee is really bad... I almost hiked out early ending my annual fourth of July four day solo.
