I second the posts recommending the Fenix brand lights. The LOD (AAA) is one oz including the battery and the L1D (AA) is two oz including the battery. Their adjustability from blinding to glow is great. The AAA has a hat clip that is very convenient only if you like to wear a hat. I like using just one spare lithium battery that can be exchanged with many devices. Despite not being a headband type light, these are nothing short of awesome.
