300winmag member Registered: 02/28/06 Posts: 1342 Loc: Nevada, USA	Also you can smear Shoe Goo in the straps. When it dries it's VERY wear resistant. It is formulated to repair shoe soles and works well for me. I use replaceable Taslan boot laces (Shoe-Gooed, of course) for my gaiters.
