I have a GSI nForm Dualist cookware set and a Snow Peak titanium 3 pc cookware set. For heat, I use an MSR Pocketrocket. Really, the only thing I've used them for is to boil water for dehydrated meals or to cook tap raman. I'm wondering what other people cook with their similar lightweight cooking sets and backpacking stoves. I can cook a lot of stuff using regular pots and pans over a multiple burner camping stove with propane tanks, but that's not very lightweight OR practical on a backpacking trip... Please, share your ideas because I'm begining to grow tired of dehydrated meals and top raman. ;-) Thanks!
Good choice on the Dualist <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It and the Soloist are pretty fun to use.
Well, you have a couple options - you can explore recipes that you add to boiling water (such as mine) or you could see what my friend Dicentra does on her site: http://www.onepanwonders.com/index.htm
You can also take stuff you like at home and make smaller versions of it on the trail. Just use dried whenever you can to save weight/spoiling.
See? Not hard at all <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Geez, and I wait for sarbar to reply so I don't have to, and then she doesn't even plug her own site. Ya don't have to get complicated to be "gourmet" - go look through sarbar's http://www.freezerbagcooking.com/ site, it's a goldmine..
