I want to add pockets to a rain jacket. Really should have aqua guard or similar zippers.

Where can I find them?

Need #3, 8" long, closed end

Thanks!

Try zipperstop.com They list YKK waterproof zippers for sale. Otherwise, just google waterproof zippers and check out the listings.

Thanks for the reply.

I did search on google, and I also found the same website. They do not offer closed end waterproof zippers, only one end closed, or separating types.

Any other sources?

You can sew the open end closed. Just use an overcast stitch by hand.

Hmm, Now there's an idea! Old timer brain forgets... I used to do this with regular bulk coil zipper for many projects but wasn't concerned with water resistance, I guess I could do the same here, and seal the stitching. Do you know if the zipper material adheres to seam grip or something like it?

I got a pair 8" on Amazon. They look OK: https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Resist...terproof+zipper

They also have in 12" and 24"

You can also find them at JoAnn Fabrics, one in your area could save S&H.
