Welcome!

Tell us a little about yourself and, of course, where you backpack!

Hey everyone! Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Well I am 34, I live in Tulsa Oklahoma, and I love to backpack. I have just started a small gear company called Black Mesa Outfitters. Not reinventing the wheel yet... lol

And so far this forum has given me some great ideas! I am glad I stumbled upon this site!

Cool! I was going ask if you were an "Okie". cool

You're not to awful far from me, I'm near Branson, Mo. What kind of gear are you making, we're all going to want to hear about that!

If you ever get this way and want help testing some I'll sure volunteer grin

You are only a few hours away! I have 2 products ready for market. And 2 more on the way. My first 2 releases are an ultralight kitchen clean up kit. And the second is a ultralight pack towel. I am still setting up my website (along with a metric ton of other crap). So it may be a bit before I have a proper web store.

Sorry for going into my buttinski moderator mode, but I hope you'll check out our advertising policy here (page down to "Advertising").

This shouldn't be an issue at present while you're in early startup mode, but please do contact Packlite, the site owner, if you haven't already, for details/clarification. Thanks!

{Takes off moderator hat] I'm interested to see what you'll be offering!

Not to worry, OM is just doing her job. Everyone gets one bite of the apple laugh. So don't let it scare you away. Stick around and have some fun.

Right--no rules have been broken! As I said, at this point you are very much in startup mode so there are no issues. Once you get going, though, please consult with Packlite. Thanks!
