That's the stuff. I used the Two Person Survival Blankets for the tent. They're a little bigger and a lot lighter than the one you have.

I haven't seen one like yours yet, but I'd like to see what's different with it. With the added weight it's surely more durable. Have you noticed the shiny coating rubbing off?

This Escape Bivvy is interesting too. I think someone here said they were thinking about giving it a try.

It might make a good bag liner, or if it's big enough, use it over your bag. I'd like to see one of those up close too.

Ok Bill,

The shiny side of the blanket is still just as fragile as ever I can see notable wear and scratches in mine and I only set it up in a few different configurations. Even check with my pinky nail and it comes off super easy!

!!!I REALLY WISH THE GUYS OVER AT AMK. WOULD COME UP WITH A SOLUTION TO THIS!!!!!

Otherwise its a nice little tarp just wish the reflective side was a little more durable!

That's disappointing. frown

I really figured the extra weight of that blanket would have been at least in part applied to a solution for that problem.

This makes me wonder about that breathable sleeping bag they sell too.
