New to Backpacking here. I've done a few day trips to shenandoah park, love the old rag hike with all the rock scrambles. I recently went camping there with my wife and our two dogs. All we did was day hikes which was awsome. We logged over 30 miles in four days with the longest day being just over 10. We now have an itch to get some backpacking gear and do some over night trips with the goal of doing The Great Smokey Mountians AT trail next spring for my wifes birthday. That is if we can get our hands on everything we need to make it. Well just wanted to say Hi to everyone and if you guys and gals have any advice that would be great. Thanks
