New member here with a new pack question. I was looking around for a new pack and was looking to stay under 2000cu. So far in my arsenal I have a Badlands 2200 and a Maxpedition Falcon II. This pack would be a middle ground between the two, or even under the Falcon possibly. I want something that is fairly light weight, not loaded with too many pockets like my Falcon, waist strap, chest strap and some compression and exterior loops. My current considerations are a wide variety but are not limited to:
Osprey Hornet 24
Arc'teryx Axios 25
Arc'teryx Spear 20
Mountain Hardware Hueco 34

My biggest issue is I'm not familiar with either Arc'teryx or Mountain Hardware.

I also have no experience with those two lines. I am happy with my GoLite packs. Perhaps the GoLite Rush 20L would work?

I also like my Gossamer gear packs.

I heard Arc'teryx was exceptional when exclusively produced in Canada and that they have slightly declined since moving some production to China. In regards to Mountain Hardware I've heard varying opinions. Ospreys about the same. I believe the Golites reviewed well if I recall. I'm happy with my Falcon but that bag is heavy out of the box and with all the organization and stiff material, it's hard to load out easily.
