Anyone ever modify your packs? Would it be possible/adviseable to move the straps on a Gregory Jade 50 down about 2"?

It's easy enough on a simple rucksack, and worth it for correcting a bad fit, but on a pack as complex as the Jade I'd be very cautious since as the strap connection point interacts with the suspension, framesheet, load control straps, etc. Are there no height adjustments, either to the shoulder strap yoke or the waist belt attachment point?

Nope,there are no adjustments that would shorten the distance between the shoulder strap attachment point and the waist belt.
