I saw those on the news. I didn't see anything about the causes, though, other than the drought--which contributes but doesn't start fires. As of 5 pm Pacific when I checked the news, the fire had burned right up to the bridge and took out surrounding tourist facilities. One place I never got to in my youth; too late nos!

We lost one. A local young man lost his life when a snag hit him out fighting a fire. His mother is the County Librarian, his dad works for the neighboring County. He was only 20 I believe. Duane
