If you're still around can you all recommend a good backpacking spot or five? I'm waiting for the weather get cold before I venture out. Note that billstephenson (in the Ozarks) doesn't hike during the summer either! After suffering through the Gettysburg reenactment and another week in Ohio, I can see why! Of course we rarely have such warm and humid conditions out here in the PNW. Today was an exception; there was so much water vapor in the air this morning (foggy!) that my smoke alarm went off! _________________________ May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view--E.
