Reading that, I thought I was at Captain Jack Aubrey's table aboard the Surprise in a Patrick O'Brian novel. (Someone even did a 'cookbook' of recipes for all those feasts he had aboard in those twenty-something novels.)

I want to hear more particulars about your 'annual gourmet bp' i.e., are you using llamas or sherpas to get the stuff to your campsite? You making an ultralight souffle?
