The FABRIC is very waterproof, but the construction is not. For instance, the hood doesn't adequately cover your head, and the front zipper is sewn on without any seam sealing on the stitching. The elastic in the cuffs absorbs water like crazy. If none of this bothers you then they are great.

Has anyone used the Frogg Toggs rain suit out and about? I bought the standard set that I use for bass fishing but have not been rained on in em' nor tried em' on my extended hikes. For weight purposes I want to ditch my old rain suit and use my Toggs. They claim to be 100% water and wind proof. Anyone got any experience or input using the Toggs compared to other suits?
