I'm perfectly happy to chat with you...but I don't think of our trips in quite the same way. We regularly backpack into the mountains for up to a week at a time, but we don't see these as grandiose or even really expeditions. We're just going on vacation and doing what we love.

Some people we know think that we're bold adventurers. We're not. We just like to backpack, see new country, sleep on the ground, and do it for days on end away from other people.
