For two of us, we take instant oatmeal (3 packages for two people) plus hot cocoa, plus a few nuts to mix into the oatmeal, plus dried fruit for breakfast.

Lunch is salami, hard cheese, crackers of some kind, dried fruit, and gorp or an energy bar.

Dinner is miso soup, a Mountain House 2 person dinner, more dried fruit and more gorp or another energy bar.

We don't get fat on this diet but it keeps us hiking, We figure between 1.5 and 2 pounds of food a day for the two of us combined. What are you taking?
