Dryer Moderator Registered: 12/05/02 Posts: 3591 Loc: Texas	Thought about this some more. A model engine glow plug would provide a coil of platinum catalyst, plus allow battery ignition to get things going. Even better might be the mantles for Jone or Zippo hand warmers. Wafting vapor from lighter fluid is all it takes for the platinum salts in the mantles to hold an ember. Cheap too. _________________________ paul, texas KD5IVP
