Are you sure that lid isn't rimmed in silicon?

Yes it is silicon, but silicon has a melting point, its safe for oven temps. but not for direct blue flame.

yes I trying to figure out where I should put the ports, I tried something I will post it later and it is a venom energy drink bottle, I think its the same as a beer bottle
