I forgot to mention, I do have gaiters to keep dry, but I'm highly suspecting I'll be too cold at night around camp.

If I can get overshoes, I think I should be warm enough in them with down booties inside, and a insole cut from closed cell foam.

Otherwise, am i better off getting pack boots, or just insulated winter hiking boots with gaiters like these?

How about cabela's pac boots like these? Would they be good for hiking? They seem pretty bulky

It sees like the pac boots would be warmer, but not nearly as comfortable as winter hiking boots.
