Is this the same hike that "Yaonkie" is going on in the post below?

not sure it could be. I just need to find out what kind of weather they have at that time of year. Because it will be two first timers goin out and i dont want it to be a bad trip. If we dont have the right gear or something like that.

I am going to tell you the same thing I tell almost every beginner here-learn to use Internet search engines such as Yahoo and Google to find this kind of information. It isn't rocket science, but if you don't learn, you are missing out on finding a whole lot of useful information.

Don't expect the members here to have been where you are going or have been there at the same time of year. If someone has, it is just pure luck in many cases unless the place is really well known.

I found the website for the Wisconson DNR in about a minute using "kettle moraine" as the search term on Yahoo.

Start here-
Wisconsin DNR

Expect almost anything at the end of March. It could be 70F and sunny, but it could also be in the teens and blowing snow.

What the others said, plus, don't worry too much about having a bad trip. If you manage to survive it, you'll probably be hooked, even if you have to shrug off a few minor disasters. For a first-timer everything is so new that if your trip contains so much as the kernal of enjoyment, you'll find it in the midst of a bit of temporary misery. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

www.intellicast.com has a "historical" entry for every date. Do remember that the record high and low didn't exist at one point. In other words, it's possible for there to be a new record on the date you show up!
