In this episode, we are going to be trying out the freeze dried food for the first time and it promises to be a very interesting experience as this type of meals are becoming more and more popular nowadays for their convenience and long shelf life. We will take you through the entire process of cooking the meals, share the ingredients of each as well as our personal thoughts and honest opinion on the flavours, taste and overall quality. I think you'll find that some of us on these boards have been eating freeze dried foods on the trail for more than fifty years--an have tried too many different companies and flavors to count.

And in my experience the companies often change recipes and flavors from year to year, so recommendations don't always carry forward.
