Read that and "African Genesis" when I was a kid. Don't recall that much specific to either at this point, but understand some fraction of his theories today are accepted and others refuted, which shouldn't be surprising given how much more knowledge we've acquired since.

Ardrey was also a prolific screenwriter and playwright. When did he sleep?
